About meVioletta Larysz-Wołek
I was born in Opole (1975). Artistic nickname VLW.
Graduated from The Higher Technical School in Katowice with the specialization in Architecture, Spatial Development and Applied Arts in 2009. I am a member of The Polish Fine Artists Association and Polish Applied Art. I have always been fascinated by interior design particularly by decorating with fine art. Before I started to paint however my interest laid far away from this kind of art expression.

I have been living in Raciborz since 2003. Painting has become my passion right after finishing Architecture Studies in 2011.
My first exhibition was displayed in March 2012 in Raciborz comprising my early artistic creations in the gallery “Galeria za Szafą”. The prevailing subject of my works is abstraction. It not only reflects my life experience but also gives me satisfaction and freedom in the act of creating. Normally I use acrylic paints, brushes, patulas however painting with hands makes the contact with the work more unique. While painting I always try to be playful and free, to go beyond mind reaching the emptiness, to experiment without expectations. In my work I follow Jung in his words: “The creation of something new is not accomplished by the intellect but by the play instinct acting from inner necessity. The creative mind plays with the objects it loves.”
I am a curious Artist discovering the life’s multi-leveled structure over and over again. By showing my works to the public I invite the viewer to sense the no-mind state and to experience freely the created new world.
I am a mother of four children and I admit that parenting is the most important and noble art of all in my life.
